Tom and Beth at Hoyle Court
What an amazing day we had 2nd shooting for Tom and Beth’s wedding at Hoyle Court. Thankfully we all managed to stay cool enough during one of the hottest days so far this summer!! Everyone was super happy and we didn’t stop laughing all day! I always aim to capture the story of the day. Most important for this are the little moments. The laughs, the hugs, the cartwheels. All these little moments create your story.
Where to begin?
As soon as Beth stepped out of the Limo we had a few tears – they certainly won’t be the last. More than anything, this wedding felt like a real celebration! You can see Beth do a little jig before walking back down the isle with her man, Tom.
Mr & Mrs Jones stepped out into the sun to be greeted by their happy friends and family … oh and a massive confetti bomb that Tom spent the rest of the day getting out of his suit!!
The happy guests made the most of the sun and the beautiful garden at Hoyle Court, whilst we got a few photos of the newlyweds for the first time!
I do love it when brides decide that they want to give a speech, why should they remain silent on their wedding day!! And Beth rocked the mic with her speech.
Once the speeches were finished, the delicious food eaten, and that beautiful cake cut we went back out into the sunset for a final couple portrait session. Usually the garden around the seating area at Hoyle Court has beautiful roses of different pinks and reds, but due to the unprecedented heat this summer we weren’t treated to those beautiful flowers. I think we made the most of the garden anyway though!!
Now we come to my favourite part of the day, the first dance and general merriment! I love getting close and personal on the dance floor, right in the middle of the chaos, to show everyone how it felt to be on the dance floor that night; not just how it looked from the outside.
And so, all that is left for me to do is wish Tom + Beth the best of luck together! Thank you for such an enjoyable day and inviting me into your lives for the briefest of moments!
