CAPTURE AN ICONIC SUNRISE
Come and join myself and James Lane Photography on 14th April 2019 for an early morning start atop the iconic Winnats Pass for sunrise followed by breakfast and woodland photography.
With some luck we’ll capture this iconic view of Hope Valley whilst covered in early morning low lying mist! A truly breathtaking sight!
Once we’ve made the most of the sunrise we’ll head to our favourite hidden breakfast spot where we can fuel up and chat about how it all went. If we’ve warmed up enough with our pint of Yorkshire Tea we can even get the laptops out and have a talk about how we might edit the images.
We’ll then head back out in search of misty/sun soaked woodland or make our way to Padley Gorge for some long exposure waterfalls.
Composition, camera settings, long exposures, filters etc
Although we can car share to breakfast, it might be best to bring your car with us.
An English breakfast is included; if you have any dietary requirements please let us know when booking.
We’ll start at Winnats Pass but will head to a second location after breakfast.
Although we can share equipment with you, it is advisable to bring your own equipment with you. These might include: Tripod, Filters, Additional Lenses, Remote Shutter.
What you’ll definitely need
It’s going to be cold!! Like, really cold! At least in the early morning atop Winnats Pass. You’ll also want a good pair of walking boots!
We don’t mind what make/model/age of camera you bring, but to get the most out of the day a camera able to shoot in MANUAL is preferable.
It’s going to be dark. You’re going to be setting up in the dark. And you’re going to want your hands for getting ready OR putting in pockets.
